Blood Pressure: If you have high blood pressure, make sure that you keep a control blood pressure. High blood pressure can damage your kidneys and can cause chronic kidney failure.

Salt: Choose and prepare foods with less salt and sodium. Aim for less than 1,500 milligrams of sodium each day.

Cholesterol: Too much cholesterol can build up in your blood vessels. This build up can narrow vessels and lead to a blockage, preventing blood from getting to a certain areas of your body. When this occurs in your heart vessels, it is called coronary heart disease and can cause a heart attack.

Diabetes: If you have diabetes, you can keep kidney disease from forming by monitoring your blood sugar levels. You can do this by proper dieting and staying away from sugary foods.

Weight: A proper weight can help prevent other disease from forming such as high blood pressure, and heart disease.

Protein: Eat the right amount of protein. Although it is important to eat enough protein to stay healthy, excess protein makes your kidneys work harder. Eating less protein may help delay progression to kidney failure.

Eating healthy is the key from keeping  your blood vessels from forming blockage and heart disease. If you do these things, you can help keep diseases away from you.
